20"x40" oil painting, North Avenue Dam is an evocative scene painted along the Milwaukee River. This painting shows the now removed Dam on a hazy Fall day. The Milwaukee River at North Avenue was once the subject of a painting by regionalist artist Gerritt Sinclair around 1915. Part of the River Series as seen on PBS 10/36 television.
